Melissa Lamb Walsh, LMT, NCTMB is a nationally certified massage therapist licensed by the state of Maine. Her goal is to create a safe, soothing environment where you can take a break from the physical, mental and emotional stresses of daily life and release the built-up tension in your body. She graduated from the Downeast School of Massage at the top of her class in 2004. Her course of study included Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, and Hydrotherapy, along with majors in Swedish Massage, Sports Massage and Polarity. She continues to further her bodywork education annually through seminars and conferences. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in 2001 in Environmental Geography and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has traveled abroad extensively. Melissa is originally from Maine and is thankful to have a career caring for and supporting the community that once helped raise her. Sarah Cordiner, LMT has been a licensed massage therapist in Maine since 2005, after graduating from the Holistic Massage Program at Portland’s SpaTech Institute. Her calming energy is contagious and ideal for those who need to slow down and unwind. In every session, she listens carefully to what you need and addresses those concerns. Drawing from her experience with Polarity Therapy, she is very sensitive to pick up on what your body is telling her you need as well. Sarah has worked in a variety of settings throughout Maine including Calm Waters Spa & Salon, Blossom Massage for Women and Sunday River Ski Resort.
Ginny Esposito, LMT, NCTMB is a nationally certified and Maine state licensed massage therapist. She has been practicing in a wide variety of settings in southern Maine for the past nine years. She completed 624 hours of coursework in Holistic Therapeutic Massage at Educating Hands School of Massage in Miami, Florida, graduating in 2000. Her goal when giving a massage is to create a space for you to unwind and truly be in the present moment. Ginny enjoys participating in community drum circles, 5Rhythms Dance (a movement mediation practice) and loves to be outdoors in the stillness of nature. She considers it to be an honor to work with people in this modality of massage therapy.
Karen Deyesso, LMT is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Maine. She started her training in 1999 at the Heartwood Institute in northern California, where she participated in a work exchange program gaining 200 hours of massage training. Her focus was therapeutic massage and nutrition. In 2002, she continued her education in Portland, Maine at the Polarity Realization Institute, currently known as Spa Tech. She completed the Therapeutic Deep Tissue program gaining 500 more hours of training. Her current massage modalities include: swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, pregnancy massage and reflexology. Her work experience ranges from owning her own practice to working in spa settings.
