We are a collective of licensed massage therapists with various styles and experience levels.
Kate Somerville, LMT became licensed in the state of Maine after graduating from the 600-hr program in Holistic Massage Therapy from Namaste Institute in Rockland, Maine. Through her studies, Kate was exposed to many bodywork modalities, gaining expertise in Neuromuscular Therapy, Zen Shiatsu, Prenatal, Hot Stone and Swedish Massage. She excels at listening to your body’s needs and incorporating a variety of techniques, such as deep tissue massage, stretching and gentle rocking, thus making each massage experience unique and effective for you. Kate’s massage will calm busy minds and bodies, relieve aches and pains and help support your immune system, so you can stay vibrant and healthy all year long. Kate has lived in Portland her whole life, except for a winter away in Lake Tahoe, California and four years in Montreal, Quebec where she received a bachelor’s degree from McGill University in Asian Religion and Environment. When Kate is not working with massage clients, she bartends and waitresses in downtown Portland and enjoys cooking, crafting, reading and dancing. She looks forward to working with you to meet your health and wellness needs!![]() Chelsea Jackson, LMT graduated from Spa Tech's 600 hour Therapeutic Massage Program in October 2011 where she studied many different massage techniques. She is most skilled in Deep Tissue, Myofascial (including stretching and range of motion), Swedish Relaxation, Reflexology and Chair Massage. She has been described by her teachers as a "smart therapist" who knows how and when to use the appropriate techniques to provide the most relief and comfort as possible to her clients, therefore creating long-term relief. Chelsea will always seek new ways to improve herself as a massage therapist; whether expanding her knowledge of current modalities or learning new ways to keep clients relaxed, pain-free and enthralled with her work. In addition to massage therapy, Chelsea’s other passion is Martial Arts. She has been practicing many styles since 2002, earning her Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do/Karate in 2008. She is currently an advanced student in JKD, Kali/Modern Arnis and Taijutsu and has been a Martial Arts instructor since 2006. She enjoys working with people of all ages and looks forward to meeting you soon!

Amber is also a certified Personal Trainer who uses many stretching techniques in her massage and can give you the knowledge needed to stay flexible and strong. Amber's style can be described as deep, focused myofascial work with an emphasis on deep tissue release, though all massages are tailored to your preference. She has a passion for anatomy and physiology and looks at the body as moving parts rather than just a still form. Amber also earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Maine-Orono and has lived in the Portland area for the past 6 years. She looks forward to working with all types of people and bodies and hopes to meet you soon. Karen Deyesso, LMT is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Maine. She has continuing education in Orthopedic Massage and Special Needs Massage. Kelly is pleased to offer bodywork to new clients who have no experience with massage as well as the “seasoned regular” and feels this is a welcome addition to any person’s self care regimen.
