Deep Tissue Massage is a specific style of Swedish massage.  Deeper sustained pressure and neuromuscular techniques will be used to isolate and resolve active and latent trigger points by breaking cycles of spasm and pain.  Passive stretching and deep breathing will help to further loosen chronic problem areas.  This style can be utilized in 30, 60, or 90 minute sessions for $40, $75, or $100 respectively.  These increments reflect the amount of time you are actually on the table receiving treatment, so please allow extra time for discussion and paperwork.

What to Expect: Your first session will include discussion and paperwork to determine your reasons for seeking massage therapy, your current and past medical history, and the goals you want to achieve through your treatments.

For the table massage, you will be asked to remove clothing to your level of comfort.  Undressing always takes place in private and you will be covered by a sheet and/or blanket at all times.  Only the part of the body that is currently receiving treatment will be undraped to ensure that your modesty is always respected.  You will also have a choice of music, lotion/oil, and temperature to ensure the most peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for you.
