Chair Massage (or on-site seated massage) is a brief bodywork session which eases muscular tension and pain, improves clarity of mind by increasing blood flow, and decreases blood pressure, respiration rates and anxiety.  Many chronic pain conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome can also be treated.

A corporate setting is the most common site for chair massage as the presence of stress in the workplace can no longer be ignored.  Its impact is manifested in medical costs, employee performance, and therefore, the corporate bottom line. What to Expect: This treatment is done in a special chair in which the client sits fully-clothed facing toward the cushions, exposing the scalp, shoulders, neck, arms, back, and hips.  Lotion is used only on arms and hands, and only if desired.  This treatment is usually performed in 15 to 30 minute increments per person at the rate of $1/minute.  A minimum of 4 people is necessary for on-site travel.
